About Me

Benjamin White is an African American actor born and based in New York City. He is currently a senior at Hamilton College and has trained at the British American Drama Academy (BADA).

Ben is working towards a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with a minor in Education Studies. At Hamilton, he serves as Head Model for Signature Style, the college’s fashion magazine; performs as a beatboxer and baritone/bass in The Buffers, an a cappella group; and was a Director for Untitled@Large, a student theatre organization.

Along with acting, he is also a dedicated dancer and choreographer with training in modern, contemporary, hip-hop, and vogue styles.

Ben has accomplished a lot during his time at Hamilton College. During his freshman year, Ben directed and choreographed the live world premiere of Dean Gild’s new musical Suddenly. He worked with renowned actors Zoë Waites and Elliot Barnes-Worrell during his junior year in London at The British American Drama Academy. During his senior year, Ben had the privilege of opening for Hamilton College’s Great Names Speaker Lin-Manuel Miranda. He performed an original rap parody of Miranda’s My Shot titled “Our Shot” for a crowd of over 5,500 people, including Lin-Manuel Miranda, his team, and other community members.
